“Fun Under The Sun” is an experience both the students and the teachers shared together this summer. This trip may not be as perfect as we anticipated it to be because of unexpected things but it ended well.

In this out of town trip, it’s the time for the students to have fun and to enjoy the perks of youthfulness. We let them get out of their comfort zone and encounter a lot of first-time experiences. We let them experience riding jeepney going to Paradiso Resort of Aringay La Union, which is our destination. There, our students enjoyed football in the pool; however, their competitiveness was ignited when we introduced to them the Sock race game and the Crossing the river game. What is more exciting is that the students enjoyed the palatable Filipino foods that their teachers prepared.

For our teachers, it is the time for them to step out of the professional life, take some fresh air and enjoy what nature has to offer. However, in the eye of the academy, it’s an opportunity to build rapport, emphasize the Student-Teacher relationship, socialize and get to know each other more for comfortable learning.
